Antenna and Mount Recommendations

This bracket is designed for an NMO-type mount. We recommend antennas weighing up to 1 lb and approximately 4–5 feet tall, such as VHF/UHF whips, dual-band antennas and most commercial LMR antennas.

Use with 6–7-foot dual-band antennas, HF hamsticks, or heavy base-loaded CB or HF antennas is not recommended. Modifying the bracket for other mounting types is also not recommended.
